Welcome to Zuv. We are not a traditional matrimonial database, nor are we a dating app. Zuv is a private, human-led executive matchmaking service designed exclusively for Kashmiri Pandit professionals.

Because our service requires a high degree of personalization, trust, and human labor, these Terms of Service (“Terms”) act as a mutual agreement of respect and accountability between you (the "User" or "Client") and Zuv. By booking a consultation, paying a deposit, or entering our active matching pool, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Intent

To maintain the purity and effectiveness of the Zuv network, you must meet the following criteria to use our services:

• Heritage: You identify as a Kashmiri Pandit.

• Legal Status: You are legally permitted to marry under applicable laws (single, legally divorced, or widowed).

• High Intent: Zuv is strictly for individuals seeking a serious relationship. You confirm that your intent is to find a life partner, not to engage in casual dating. Zuv reserves the right to reject or offboard any user who displays a lack of serious intent.

• Direct Representation: While we respect family involvement, the primary Zuv user must be the candidate themselves. We do not accept profiles managed entirely by parents or third-party brokers without direct, ongoing communication with the candidate.

2. The Zuv Service Model

Zuv operates on a "Private Concierge" model utilizing our proprietary Home, Head, and Heart alignment framework.

• No Public Profiles: You acknowledge that Zuv does not provide a digital catalog or searchable database of profiles.

• Curated Introductions: Matches are handpicked by the Zuv team based on your documented non-negotiables. Identities and photographs are only shared when there is mutual preliminary interest.

3. Our Fee Structure (The Success Model)

Our financial incentives are deliberately aligned with your success. By proceeding past the initial free consultation, you agree to the following fee structure:

• Deep Discovery Call: 100% Complimentary.

• The Commitment Deposit: A one-time, upfront retainer to enter the active matching pool.

• The Success Fee: A final milestone fee payable at the time of marriage if the match was facilitated by Zuv.

4. The Zuv Performance Guarantee & Refund Policy

We operate on strict operational accountability. Your Commitment Deposit is protected by the following terms:

• The Guarantee: Zuv guarantees that within a 6-month active period (180 days, commencing from the date of your payment), we will successfully deliver a minimum of three (3) Introductions that align with your documented Home, Head, and Heart non-negotiables.

• Definition of an Introduction (The Double Opt-In): An introduction officially counts toward your 3-match guarantee only when a Double Opt-In is achieved. This means:

  1. Zuv presents a profile that objectively meets your documented demographic, professional, and lifestyle non-negotiables.

  2. You review the profile and explicitly express interest.

  3. The corresponding match reviews your profile and explicitly agrees to initiate contact. (Note: Once contact details are exchanged or a first call is scheduled following a Double Opt-In, Zuv has successfully delivered that introduction. What occurs during or after that communication—e.g., lack of physical chemistry or scheduling conflicts—falls outside Zuv’s locus of control and does not invalidate the introduction.)

• Refund Eligibility: If Zuv fails to achieve these three (3) Double Opt-In introductions within the 6-month period, you are entitled to a refund of your Commitment Deposit on a pro rata basis of the number of introductions made. 100% refund- if no introductions are made.

• Conditions that Void the Refund Guarantee: To ensure fairness and mutual respect for time, the Performance Guarantee becomes void (meaning the deposit is non-refundable, though Zuv will continue to provide service) under the following conditions:

  • Scope Change: If you significantly alter your non-negotiable criteria (e.g., location, age range, professional requirements) after the initial Discovery Call.

  • Unresponsiveness: If you fail to respond to proposed matches, outreach, or scheduling requests from the Zuv team for a period exceeding 7 consecutive days.

  • Misrepresentation: If you have provided false information regarding your background, intent, or relationship status.

5. User Obligations & Code of Conduct

Zuv is a curated community built on trust. You agree to:

• Provide 100% accurate information regarding your age, career, marital history, and lifestyle.

• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the identities, photos, and personal details of the matches presented to you. You may not share match details publicly or on social media.

• Treat all matches and Zuv staff with profound respect. Ghosting, harassment, or disrespectful behavior will result in immediate termination from the platform without a refund.

• Promptly inform Zuv when you have decided to formalize a relationship with a Zuv match (triggering the Success Fee) or if you enter a relationship outside of Zuv (so we can pause your profile).

6. Confidentiality & Data Privacy

We treat your data with the highest level of security. Your biodata is not a public commodity. Your personal information, contact details, and photographs are stored securely and only shared with a highly vetted match after we have confirmed mutual alignment and obtained your explicit consent for that specific introduction.

7. Limitation of Liability

Zuv acts as a facilitator for introductions based on our alignment framework.

• We conduct standard professional verifications, but you are ultimately responsible for conducting your own due diligence before committing to a marriage.

• Zuv guarantees the alignment of the introduction based on stated preferences; we cannot guarantee the ultimate success, longevity, or legal validity of the marriage itself. Zuv is not liable for any emotional, financial, or physical distress resulting from interactions with your matches.

8. Termination

• By You: You may pause or terminate your search with Zuv at any time by notifying us in writing. If you terminate before the 6-month period expires without Zuv breaching the Performance Guarantee, the Commitment Deposit is forfeited.

• By Zuv: We reserve the right to terminate your membership immediately, without refund, if you violate these Terms, misrepresent yourself, or exhibit behavior deemed detrimental to the Zuv community.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
